First Post: Hello! I like food.

Hi, I'm Shu.

You may remember me from such YouTube channels as 'Shu likes clothes', 'dejashu' and 'Shu likes food.' Today, I'm here to announce the birth of my fourth online project - behold, the Shu likes food blog.

First of all, ten golden mangos if you spotted the Troy McClure reference and second of all, it's about time that I started a food blog so in honour of Fat Friday, voila! Whether you know me in real life, from my YouTube videos, fashion blog, Instagram, Twitter... or you don't know me at all - it's no secret that I'm a lover of food. I'm forever prancing around after the weekend telling anyone who'd listen about finding London's best burger/bagel/breakfast bar and proceed to describe every detail of the food affair down to the very last morsel. You will also find me surrounded by fruit, a cinnamon bottle and a bowl of porridge as I try to elegantly decorate it before I... demolish it. It does taste better when it's arranged nicely though. This is serious business, this is rock 'n' roll, guys.

Expect a good mixture of clean eating posts, healthy food recipes, meal ideas and the occasional calorie-drippin', carb filled restaurant review. I eat very clean 80% of the time and combine it with 5-6 hourly workouts (cardio, strength and pilates etc) during the week. What about the other 20%? Why, I reserve the rest for the occasional lunch treat, catch-up dinner, weekend cheat meal and anything nutella filled. The key thing is to keep it all in moderation (£1 for every time I've heard that phrase before). Food is after all, for the soul. ;)

I'll be back with a Patty & Bun review (hi weekend) but in the mean time, have a look at my 'New Year Detox: Healthy Meal Ideas' video that I uploaded on my main channel this week. If you're after some breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack ideas then here's me excitedly wafflin' on about all of the above whilst holding up almonds and peanut butter.



I'm unbelievably excited about this.

I've also accidentally helped arrange a 'Fat Friday Food Club' with the people at work to go to The Diner for lunch. I've narrowed it down to four choices to choose from with a side of sweet potato fries. Darn it.

  1. OH MY GOD I love this blog already. I'm not sure if you stay away from gluten/wheat, but if you can do any posts along those lines, I will love you even more xxx
